Connecting to the Novell Server

If you have requested a Novell account, you will be able to connect to the Novell server from your Mac without the use of a Novell client.
If you do not have a Novell Account, go to: http://www.whoi.edu/services/CISwork/services/desktop/novell/request.html

1. From the Finder menu bar, click on Go, then Connect to Server.
    
2. Enter in trumpet.whoi.edu for the Server Address, then click Connect.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Enter in the following information in the fields shown:
   Name: Your Fully Qualified Novell Username (Example: .lastname.dept.whoi, where dept = your department)
   Password: Your Novell Account Password
   
   
   
   
   
4. Click Connect
    
5. Select TRUMPET.USER and then click OK.
   
   
   
   
   
6. You will now have a mounted drive (Trumpet.User) that you can access.
