Remote Access Server

The new Remote Access System(RAS) server is a dialup service that allows you to access the WHOI network without being at the Institution. This privilege is more than just being able to check your WHOI email, but also viewing the Intranet website, printing directly to WHOI printers, etc. This service can be established when you have completed a RAS Account Request Form and have received confirmation via email that the account has been created. You will receive detailed instructions on how to configure your home computer for RAS service.

Webmail allows you to read and to send email from remote access. The URL for Webmail is https://webmail.whoi.edu/.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the CIS Helpdesk at x2439 or complete a Service Request.
