Adelphia to phase out discount program

Dear Mr. Gaylord:

Adelphia wishes to inform you that the special discounted PowerLink prices which we have been offering since last year to Woods Hole employees are being phased out.

Until July 5, 2003, new Woods Hole employees who sign up for "PowerLink only" service will pay a discounted rate of $52.95, which is $5.00 off the current residential rate of $57.95. Alternatively, employees who purchase at least the Broadcast level of cable service will pay only $40.95 for their PowerLink.

Current Woods Hole employees who have been receiving last year's discounted rates will be moved to these new discounted rates effective July 5, 2003.

All Woods Hole Powerlink customers as of July 5, 2003 will remain at these new discounted PowerLink rates until May 1, 2004, at which time their rates will revert to the standard residential rates in effect at the time.

Please note that these changes are being implemented because the volume of Woods Hole PowerLink customers has been significantly less than was predicted last year. From a business perspective, the lower participation does not seem to justify a special rate. However, our Woods Hole customers should be aware that signing up for one of Adelphia's Advantage Packages, which combine Basic Cable, digital channels, and our PowerLink high speed Internet service, provides even greater savings than the discounted PowerLink rates.
